Using Aliases

You can set up Email Aliases under your main Runbox account. Instead of using the same address for everything, you can set up alternative email addresses for online subscriptions, registrations, newsletters, social media, business contacts and so on. All emails sent to your email aliases are delivered to your primary inbox. You can set up filters so that mail is separated into specific folders in your account. 

Aliases can be used with either a Runbox domain (e.g., runbox.com, rbx.email) or a custom domain you own – while managing all messages in one inbox.

• Privacy: Protect your primary email address by using aliases for sign-ups or public communications.
• Flexibility: Send and receive emails from multiple addresses without managing separate accounts.

Setting Up and Configuring Aliases

You can create and manage aliases in the Runbox 7 app under Settings/Email Aliases. New aliases typically propagate across Runbox servers within 5 minutes.

Runbox Domains

Runbox supports a wide range of domains for aliases. For example, if your username is example@runbox.com, you can also receive emails at example@rbx.email, example@runbox.no, and other supported domains.

Supported Runbox Domains

The Runbox domain names that can currently be used with your Runbox email aliases are:

mailhost.work, mailhouse.biz, messagebox.email, offshore.rocks, rbox.co, rbox.me, rbx.email, rbx.life, rbx.run, rnbx.uk, run.box, runbox.at, runbox.biz, runbox.bz, runbox.ch, runbox.co, runbox.co.in, runbox.com, runbox.cz, runbox.dk, runbox.email, runbox.eu, runbox.io, runbox.is, runbox.it, runbox.ky, runbox.la, runbox.li, runbox.me, runbox.nl, runbox.no, runbox.pt, runbox.rocks, runbox.uk, runbox.us, runbox7.com, xobnur.uk.

Important Notes

• Avoid creating aliases that resemble official Runbox addresses or those used by other individuals or companies. Such aliases may be removed without notice.
• For custom domains, manage your settings on the Email Hosting page (this page will show in Runbox 6).
