Supported Payment Methods
Runbox accepts the following payment methods for subscriptions and upgrades:
Credit and Debit Cards
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. We use Stripe as our payments partner, and you may see additional options available depending on your device and region.
Credit and debit card payment methods are preferred as they allow for automatic processing and renewal of your subscription.
Pre-paid Cards
Pre-paid cards from the issuers above may also be accepted. However, some providers may have restrictions that could prevent Stripe from processing your card. If your card is declined, contact your bank to allow the payment.
Cryptocurrency
We accept payments via Coinbase. You can choose this option during the payment process on our website. For a list of supported currencies, visit www.coinbase.com.
Bank Transfers
Runbox accepts payments via direct bank transfer in US Dollars, Euro, and Norwegian Krone.
- To use this method, complete the payment process on our website and select “Pay with other methods”.
- You will receive a transaction ID and our bank details to complete the transfer.
- Note: Bank transfers can take several days to process. To avoid service interruptions, ensure you pay or renew well before your account’s expiration date.
Cash
Cash payments can be sent via regular mail, at your own risk. This method is not recommended due to potential delays or loss.
- If you choose this option, contact our Support Center first to confirm the currency to use.
- Note: Cash payments require manual processing and may take up to 3 weeks to reflect in your account. To avoid delays, scan or photograph the payment and email it to support@runbox.com before mailing.
Checks
We do not accept checks or money orders, as Norwegian banks no longer accept them.

Adding a Payment Method in Runbox 7
- Log in to your Runbox 7 account.
- Navigate to Settings > Subscriptions > Payment Cards.
- Click Add a new card.
- Enter your card details, or select PayPal or Apple Pay if available in your region.
- Confirm and save.
Updating or Removing a Payment Method
- Update: Select the card, edit the details, and save.
- Remove: Select the payment method and click Remove.
Security
- All transactions are encrypted and processed securely.
- Runbox does not store full card details.
Troubleshooting
- Declined Payments: Ensure your card details are correct and not expired.
- PayPal Issues: Log in to your PayPal account to verify your payment source.
